I needed a sturdy metal scale card for photographing small objects in the field so I decided to make one. I gave one to a research colleague (with his name etched on it) and he found it to be very useful. So, I thought others might have a use for something like this (and I was right).

Each card is made of sturdy 0.75mm thick, credit card size (54mm X 86mm) anodized aluminum stock which fits perfectly in any credit card pouch. Each card has a matt black finish to help lessen glare from bright light sources (sun or electronic flash).

Each card contains two centimeter and millimeter scales with seven 1cm X 1cm blocks and an additional block divided into 2mm sections. Your name (or other text) can be laser etched in the area shown in the image above.

The cost for one of these custom etched cards is $10.00 (front side etched) or $15.00 (front and back sides etched with the same text). If you want 3 cards with the same text on each card, the total would be $25.00 (front side etched) or $35.00 (front and back sides etched with the same text).
